Joss Stone, one of most charismatic and youngest voices in soul is coming to Greece for a one and only appearance on the 2nd of September at the Pallas Theatre. Those lucky enough to get hold of the tickets will have the privilege to enjoy the 22 year old’s enchanting voice captivating us with hits such as "Spoiled", “LOVE”, "You Had Me" and her astonishing cover of the White Stripes’ “Fell In Love With A Girl”.
Born in the ‘80s, young Joss fell in love with the voice of Aretha Franklin and through was immersed in Soul and R'N'B and at age of 14 appeared on British television singing " (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman" which led her to winning the talent show.
In 2002 she reached New York, in order to audition, where she surprised the producers and executives alike, who immediately signed her. 2003 sees the release of her debut entitled “The Soul Sessions” which becomes triple platinum in the UK and gold in the USA. It is followed by “Mind, Body & Soul” in 2004, the first album featuring her own songs, which also became triple Platinum in Britain and Platinum in the States and Europe, while this release reached the top of the UK charts and Joss became the youngest woman to climb to the top of the charts. That year she was nominated for three Grammy and three Brit awards final winning those of Best British Solo Female Artist and Best Urban Act.
Three years later, “Introducing Joss Stone” is released and entered straight into No. 2 on the Billboard charts making her the youngest British female artist with the highest entry in the chart. On the 2nd September we will finally have the chance to enjoy the beautiful Joss charm us with her astonishing voice and her alluring presence.
