Jan Fabre/ Troubleyn "Orgy of Tolerance"


In a world tour the 50 years old Belgian artist Jan Fabre, a “homo universalis” of our times with his group “Troubleyn”, will come to Athens to introduce at the “Pallas” Theatre his new and subversive production “Orgy of Tolerance”.

Jan Fabre is a unique artist. A design artist, a choreographer, a director and playwright, he is searching for an all-encompassing form of art and he is recognized as one of the greater personas in contemporary art. He is the second living design artist that his works are displayed at the Louvre Museum side by side and conversing with the great Flemish masters. Jan Fabre's stage output is a persistent search for the absolute beauty and spirituality. His productions have been staged in several countries of Europe, as well as in the USA, Japan, and Australia.  Jan Fabre is a provocative artist and his groundbreaking art and his versatile work in choreography and directorship are closely bonded with his quest in drawing.
